Judah's Story - Tawharanui

Judah was having the time of his life, camping with family and friends, when his play was cut short by an epileptic seizure. Judah had his first seizure at just five months’ old but this one was different.  “Normally he’d be triggered by an illness,” mum Hayley says. Caleb tried to pry his son’s mouth open so he wouldn’t choke on his sick while a firefighter friend called 111. Emergency services rallied around until Auckland Westpac Rescue arrived. Having reached his maximum dosage of medicine, an unconscious Judah was flown to Starship fast and, thankfully, would make a full recovery.
