Man seriously injured after digger rolls 200m down hill - NZ Herald

A man has been seriously injured after a digger rolled 200m down a hill.

Police were called to Mangawara Rd, Patetonga, Hauraki at 9.20am, a spokesman said.

The injured man, who was reportedly the driver, was being airlifted from the scene by a Westpac Rescue Helicopter.

WorkSafe has been advised of the incident.
