Sarah, Asher and Beau's Story - Waihi

It wasn’t the entry into the world that Josh and Sarah had planned for twins Asher and Beau. At 38 weeks, Sarah thought her waters had broken but she’d started haemorrhaging. “I thought I was losing my babies,” Sarah says. “The midwife could only feel the wriggling foot of Beau and the heartbeat of Asher.” Like Beau, Sarah was loaded into the BK117 feet first – the best position if she needed to give birth. Josh thought, “Right we’re going to get there (to Tauranga Hospital). Everything is going to be OK.” And it was with all three lives saved.
