A panel of expert judges will review all submissions and select a winner based on creativity, originality, and how well they capture the spirit of our mission.
1. ELIGIBILITY: The competition is open to anyone residing in New Zealand. There is no age limit. Employees of the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust (the Trust) and the Trust’s related organisations, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
2. OWNERSHIP OF PHOTO: By submitting the photo you warrant to the Trust that you are the owner of the copyright in the photo and that you have permission of any person whose identity is disclosed in the photo to use their image and submit it in the competition. You acknowledge that the Trust is
entitled to rely upon the warranties given in this clause and that the Trust is not required to make any further enquiries as to permissions. For the avoidance of the doubt, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Trust excludes all liability for any breach of copyright (or any other intellectual property) in photos submitted in the competition. You indemnify the Trust for all costs incurred, on a full indemnity basis, in relation to any claims against the Trust arising in respect of a breach of your warranties in this clause.
3. PHOTO IMAGE REQUIREMENTS: The photos must be uploaded in digital format (jpeg, png, tiff) and not contain any watermarks or added graphics. Submitter may may make reasonable use of post production software to edit photo. Photos submitted must be less than 10 MB in size.
4. PHOTO USAGE BY THE TRUST: The Trust will not claim any ownership rights to any photos submitted to the competition. The competition entrants retain all rights to their photos. By submitting a photo, you irrevocably authorise the Trust to use your photo(s) for the purpose of the competition, and also to use the photo(s) in any print, web, PR, social media or marketing activity that the Trust sees fit.
5. COMPETITION PRIZE: The prize is an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max.
6. WINNER JUDGING: The Trust has the sole discretion to determine the winner and whether a photo submitted complies with the rules of the competition.
7. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT: The winner will be contacted by phone and/or email. The winner will be announced on the Trust's social media pages and website on 31 October 2024.
